The Sedanca Distinction 💎 Of the 73 Bentley Cont The Sedanca Distinction 💎

Of the 73 Bentley Continental SCs hand-assembled at Crewe, only an elite handful received the full Mulliner treatment. This is one of those six!

The exterior is finished in Deep Amethyst - a sophisticated, ‘chameleon’ hue that holds a midnight-black profile in the shade, only revealing its rich, jewel-toned violet under direct light. It is a masterclass in understated elegance.

The Specification:
• The Roof: A unique removable glass targa system, allowing for a seamless transition from a rigid grand tourer to an open-air Sedanca.
• The Cabin: A bespoke sanctuary of Light Beige Connolly leather offset by Navy Blue secondary hides and mirror-matched Burr Walnut veneers.
• The Power: The legendary 6,750cc turbocharged V8, delivering the immense, effortless torque that remains the hallmark of the Mulliner name.

This represents the final era of true British coachbuilding - a blue-chip acquisition for the collector who values absolute rarity over the common-place.

Inside the Legend: The Tickford 500 🛠️ This is no Inside the Legend: The Tickford 500 🛠️

This is no car park. It’s the Tickford factory in Bedworth, July 1987.

What you’re looking at is a massive percentage of the total ‘Ford Cosworth RS500’ production run in one place.

These cars didn’t start life here; they were born as standard Sierra Cosworths at Ford’s Genk plant in Belgium, before being shipped to this Warwickshire facility for a hardcore “Evolution” transformation.

Over 20 days, Tickford engineers hand-upgraded each car to meet the homologation requirements for Group A racing.

This photo captures the ‘Dark Force’ - the 392 cars finished in Black—standing ready before being dispatched to the 90 specialist RS dealers across the UK.

The Fact Sheet:
• The Name: A tribute to Mike Costin and Keith Duckworth (Cos-worth).
• The Power: Upgraded from 204 bhp to 224 bhp for the road, thanks to a massive Garrett T4 turbo and a second fuel rail.
• The Colors: 392 Black (pictured), 56 Diamond White, and 52 Moonstone Blue.
• The Launch: August 1st, 1987.
• The Investment: Originally £19,950. Today, the world record stands at nearly £600,000. 📈

This was the calm before the storm. Within weeks, these cars would leave this factory and go on to become the most dominant force in Touring Car history.

The ultimate Fast Ford? We think so. 🏁🏆

After decades of care and a journey through the United States, it found a home in two of the most significant French collections. No expense has been spared to ensure it drives as perfectly as it looks, with an extensive history file detailing its mechanical journey:

BREAKING NEWS! JD Iconic Europe – Now Established BREAKING NEWS! JD Iconic Europe – Now Established in Le Zoute, Belgium!

Over recent months, we have spent considerable time evaluating where our European presence should be based — not simply as a location, but as a reflection of the clients we serve and the cars we represent.

Why this matters?

The European market continues to evolve.
While public auction results suggest one narrative, the reality behind closed doors often tells another.

Many of the most important transactions today happen quietly — between known parties, with trusted intermediaries.

This is precisely where we operate.

The showroom is open Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm, and by appointment outside of these hours. We would be pleased to receive you should you be in the area. Visits are best arranged in advance to ensure the appropriate time and attention.

A selection of motor cars is available to view on display, alongside further opportunities held discreetly off-market and within our private books.

Knokke-Heist, and in particular Le Zoute, stood out immediately!

Le Zoute is not just a destination - it’s is a statement. Belgium’s most prestigious seaside enclave, where Europe’s elite gather and where luxury is effortless!

A place long associated with discretion, international clientele and a deep-rooted appreciation for significant motor cars, it offers something increasingly rare — a genuine meeting point for collectors rather than simply a destination.

It is here that JD Iconic Europe is now established.

Working alongside the Bourgoo family, whose reputation within the European market is both longstanding and respected, allows us to operate with the level of trust, access and local understanding that this market demands.

Rather than expansion for its own sake, this move is about proximity — to cars, to clients, and to opportunities that are often never publicly offered.

To discuss this exciting development or for more information please contact Mr Filip Bourgoo at our Belgium Office.

The king of unlikely heroes? Look no further than The king of unlikely heroes? Look no further than the Jaguar XJS.

Big. Heavy. Built as a grand tourer- not a race car. And yet, under Tom Walkinshaw and Tom Walkinshaw Racing, it became a global motorsport force.

🏆 1984 European Touring Car Championship Drivers’ Champion
🇺🇸 IMSA GTO Championship-winning car (1987 & 1988)
🇦🇺 Took on the best in the Australian Touring Car Championship

All powered by a monstrous 5.3L naturally aspirated V12 pushing over 450hp - delivering relentless torque, thunderous noise and serious durability.

Wide stance. Castrol colours. Pure presence.

It wasn’t supposed to work… but it didn’t just win - it conquered across continents, against all odds.

This wasn’t elegance.
This was brute force, engineered into greatness.

And that V12 howl? Still one of the most ferocious sounds motorsport has ever known.

Ever feel like you’re in a high-stakes mission… bu Ever feel like you’re in a high-stakes mission… but Bangkok traffic is the real villain? 😎🇹🇭

Who remembers this great advert from 2003? Pierce Brosnan stepped out of his limo (yes, the Bond vibes are strong) and into a tuk-tuk for one of the most legendary Visa ads ever.

Stuck in gridlock, running late for that fancy dinner date, he flags down a fearless Thai driver who turns the streets into his personal obstacle course—narrow alleys, chaotic markets, vendors flying everywhere, near-misses that had Brosnan gripping the seat like it’s his ejector seat moment.

The driver? Total legend - deadpan, fearless and stealing every scene. Brosnan? Cool as ever on the outside, but clearly rethinking his life choices in the back. Pure Bond parody meets real Bangkok energy: action, humor, and zero chill.

Then the smooth payoff - Brosnan pays with Visa (accepted everywhere, even after wrecking the ride), and the driver finally clocks who his passenger is. Iconic.

Forget the cliches. This is a 218mph resurrection Forget the cliches. This is a 218mph resurrection 🇫🇷

In 1991, the automotive world thought Bugatti was a ghost - a name relegated to black and white history books. Then, on Ettore Bugatti’s 110th birthday, the EB110 tore through the silence of Paris and suddenly, the future had a heartbeat again.

If you’re looking at this silhouette against the Eiffel Tower, you’re looking at the blueprint for the modern hypercar.

Carbon fibre monocoque? Quad-turbocharged V12? All-wheel drive? The EB110 did it all while its rivals were still figuring out fuel injection.

The Trinity of Speed 💨
Bugatti didn’t just build a car; they built a hierarchy:

• The GT (Gran Turismo): The ‘standard’ that was anything but. With 553hp and a 3.5L V12 featuring 60 valves, it redefined the grand tourer. Luxury met lunacy in the best way possible.

• The SS (Super Sport): The stripped-back, high-boost evolution. It shed 150kg and dialed the power up to 603hp. 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. In 1992, that wasn’t just fast—it was supernatural.

• The Prototypes: The experimental bridge between Marcello Gandini’s wedge-shaped dreams and Giampaolo Benedini’s final, iconic production design.

Why It Matters?

Before the Veyron became a household name, the EB110 was the world’s fastest production car. It was the underdog from Campogalliano that proved Bugatti belonged at the top of the food chain. With only 139 ever made, seeing one in the wild is like catching lightning in a bottle.

Pure, analog, quad-turbocharged soul 🇫🇷

The Legend of the Drunken Victory: Le Mans 1953 🏁 The Legend of the Drunken Victory: Le Mans 1953 🏁

If you think modern racing is intense, let me introduce you to the 1953 24 Hours of Le Mans - a race defined by revolutionary engineering and the greatest urban legend in motorsport history.

The Disqualification & The Bar 🍻
The story starts with a clerical error. During practice, Jaguar’s team manager, ‘Lofty’ England, accidentally sent Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton onto the track in a car bearing the same number as another entry. The French authorities promptly disqualified the number 18 Jaguar.

Believing their race was over, the duo headed to a local bistro to drown their sorrows. Hours later, Lofty successfully appealed the decision. He tracked them down at Gruber’s restaurant on race day morning.

According to Hamilton’s autobiography, Touch Wood, they were ‘nursing hangovers’ when they were told they had only hours to get to the starting line.

The Race of a Lifetime ⏱️
Once the flag dropped at 4:00 PM, the duo was unstoppable:

• The Technical Edge: This was the debut of Dunlop disc brakes. While Ferraris had more raw power, the Jaguar C-Type could brake much later into corners without the “fade” of old drum brakes.

• The Bird Strike: During his stint, Hamilton hit a bird at 130 mph, smashing the windscreen and breaking his nose. He refused to stop, reportedly using brandy to ‘steady his nerves’.

• The Record: They became the first team to average over 100mph (105.85mph) for the entire 24 hours.

Fact vs. Fiction 🧐
While Hamilton loved the ‘drunk’ version of the story, Lofty England later insisted he would never have let them race under the influence.

Whether they were truly tipsy or just enjoying a long lunch, the 1953 win remains the pinnacle of Jaguar’s racing heritage!
