Watching a beautifully restored classic ‘Jaguar XK120 Roadster’ get taken off the road because of another driver not paying attention and on the phone - is a reminder of how fragile these machines, and life, can be.

The accident occurred in a Mille Miglia warm-up event in Austria in 2024 - and the vehicle was a rare ‘aluminium’ bodied XK120.

Restoring history is a labour of love; losing it this way is a tragedy. 🥀

Thankfully all involved were fortunately unhurt.
