The Masterpiece Bearing the Founder’s Name
To name a car after the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari, it had to be more than just fast—it had to be definitive.
Launched in 2002, the Enzo (internally known as the F60) brought Michael Schumacher’s world-dominating F1 technology to the street, creating a driving experience that remains arguably the most raw and communicative in the “Big Five” Ferrari lineage.
F1 Soul, Naturally Aspirated Heart
At the center of the Enzo’s carbon-fiber monocoque sits the Tipo F140 B, a 6.0L V12 that served as the blueprint for every great Ferrari engine that followed.
• The Power: A screaming 660 HP at 7,800 RPM, capable of 0–60 mph in just 3.1 seconds.
• The Gearbox: A lightning-fast 6-speed automated manual “F1” transmission, shifting in a then-unheard-of 150 milliseconds.
• Aerodynamics by Pininfarina: Eschewing a massive rear wing for active underbody aerodynamics, the Enzo uses a movable rear spoiler and diffusers to generate over 1,700 lbs of downforce at high speed.
The Cockpit of a Pilot
The Enzo’s interior is a masterclass in functional minimalism. There are no carpets and very little leather; instead, you are surrounded by naked carbon fiber and the famous “Manettino” dial-inspired controls. It was the first road car to feature the LED shift lights integrated into the upper rim of the steering wheel—a direct lift from the Scuderia’s F1 cockpits.
Investment Grade: A Modern Legend
With only 399 units ever officially sold (plus one final car built for Pope John Paul II), the Enzo is the cornerstone of any serious Ferrari collection.
It represents the end of an era: the final halo Ferrari to be powered solely by a naturally aspirated V12 engine without hybrid assistance.
